My One Demand
An interactive “live cinema” filmed in one continuous shot and screened simultaneously. The storyline follows seven diverse souls that stride out across Toronto whose lives interact with each other in this pioneering project about unrequitedness love.

the backstory.
In 2015, I worked as assistant camera on this cutting-edge project on the hire of the UK-based media arts group, Blast Theory. It was an amazing experience and really opened my eyes into what is possible when you blend the world of theatre and film together.
It was because of this project, and the necessity forged out of the pandemic that I decided to form my own arts collective aptly coined as “The Live Cinema Collective” to make the performing arts completely Corona-proof, and draw in the best artistic tools of cinema: auteur-driven editing and cinematography.
