MIA Prototype

I was the media producer and videographer for Marina Abramović’s debut art installation, which consists of seven interconnected pavilions in Trinity Bellwoods Park designed for audience members to walk through a series of exercises and experiences based on Abramović’s, internationally-acclaimed performance practice.

It was a dream to work with the queen of performance art herself, Ms. Marina Abramović. She’s done with Jay-Z, James Franco with shows at MOMA and around the world.

My role was to shoot the short films that played within the installation, and I also recorded their translations into seven languages in studio.

The installation premiered in 2015 for the Luminato Festival in Toronto, Canada before touring internationally.
