On Weak Men
Weak men
Speak when
No one’s lookin’
Hiding their lies
Weak men
Freak again
Upon rookin’
Eyeing the prize
Weak men
Need hens
For egg-cookin’
Riding her highs
For you see,
In the game of life
Weak men always deceit
Playing the game squarely,
They truly believe,
Might end in their retreat
But what they don’t know
Is not playing the game at all
Guarantees a worse defeat.
Author’s note: people often say that it is the strong men that one must be weary of, but this is not the case. It’s men that feel small that are the most dangerous. These are the ones with the most to hide. With the most to prove.
Bad times create strong men; strong men create good times; good times create weak men; and weak men create bad times. Guess which era we’re in?
